In case you needed a reminder that Guillermo Del Toro is a master director and storyteller, this is a movie for you!
I highly recommend watching this in black and white, preferably in an art house cinema!
Somehow I expected more fantastic/surreal elements but aside from that it was a fun and remarkable movie to watch!
“Getir”, “Gorilla”, etc. — come back to me when these groceries-delivery startups crash in <12 months because they thought we couldn’t go to the local butcher/grocer/supermarket by ourselves…
