Well the corporate team at Intuit seems just like one might have guessed:

I mean, literally β he wrote a long email that ended with βat the very least the end portion of your interview should be deleted.We donβt do that here at The Verge.”
πΆ Turns out the great Vinyl market drought was an error. Here’s Discogs with the explainer:
Youβve likely felt the panic this week: Vinyl sales are reportedly down by (a somewhat ironic) 33.3%, marking the first decline in 17 years. Inflation and industry greed are to blame. But these headlines didnβt paint the entire picture.
[…] Discogs contacted Chris Muratore, director of partnerships at Luminate, who confirmed that the reported data is incorrect. Vinyl sales are actually up 6.2 percent. Billboard has since added language to their βMarket Watchβ report, clearing up the error.
